Power management company Eaton announced it has expanded its Advantage Automated Series clutches to support popular automated transmissions available in the North American market, rounding out its aftermarket automated clutch portfolio.
The Advantage Automated series clutches fit the unique needs of automated transmissions, which are featured on more than 75 percent of new heavy-duty trucks sold in North America.
“Eaton is excited to offer an all-makes portfolio of automated clutch products to provide our customers with a suite of solutions,” said Tim Bauer, vice president, Aftermarket, Eaton’s Vehicle Group North America. “Advantage Automated Series clutches include a clutch bracket with a hardened steel pivot ring, which better sustains loads throughout the life of the clutch, and larger spring fingers for better wear versus the competition.”
The Advantage Automated Series portfolio comprises aftermarket clutches for the most popular transmissions currently in operation in North America, including:
- Eaton Cummins Endurant™
- Eaton UltraShift Plus
- Detroit™ DT12™
- Volvo I-Shift
- Mack mDrive™
“With the expansion of our clutch portfolio, Eaton continues to offer the best value in the heavy-duty aftermarket, allowing our customers to maximize time on the road,” said Bauer.
