Reports that China will offer 100 billion yuan to subsidize the alternative energy vehicle industry are inaccurate, the Southern Metropolis Daily reported today, citing an unidentified official. The official didn’t identify the reports.
The country will not announce a plan to support the alternative energy auto industry this month as reported earlier, the newspaper said, citing an unidentified government official.
