DLH Industries announced it is bringing dozens of new jobs to east Tennessee. The company, which calls itself a global supplier of engineered plastic solutions and automotive and other markets, said will build a new manufacturing facility in Bristol. The plant is expected to hire 25 employees initially and says it expects to add fifty more positions over the next year, bringing the total number of jobs to 75.On behalf of Governor Bill Haslam, I would like to officially welcome DLH Industries to Sullivan County,” said Tennessee Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty. “The automotive industry is one of the key industry clusters we have identified where Tennessee has a competitive advantage, and I am pleased that DLH has recognized the business-friendly climate and quality workforce that our state offers.” DLH will locate its new facility in the 60,000 square foot former Bristol Jeans plant on Weaver Pike. They expect to start making parts this fall.
